The only character limit here is my unwillingness to write any more.
Despite being 30 minutes (or so) too long, it’s easily the best crime thriller I’ve seen all year. The pacing; the casting; the detail, it was all good. Though I’m sure I missed a lot of that detail in the subtitles.
After seeing another Asian film the other day, Chungking Express (also pretty good) - it seems that I’m on an Asian-movie bender.
I’m looking forward to seeing what the Toronto International Film Festival has to offer this year.
